Chennai Super Kings may be their official name, but replacing Chennai with comeback may not be the strange idea as they are the masters of bounceback from any difficult situations and prove the critics wrong by turning the odds against their favour. The same superb-comeback was seen in the game where Chennai Super Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals in the tight game by eight runs on Sunday night.
* As it Happened:

It is when MS Dhoni walked out to bat and with Suresh Raina on the crease, started to reconstruct the CSK innings. Both managed to add 61 runs crucial partnership before Suresh Raina got clean bowled by Jaydev Unadkat in the fourteenth over.
However, Dhoni kept his role of a solitary hunter going in the tough conditions and with Dwayne Bravo, He raised a 56 runs stand before Dwayne Bravo ended his cameo of 27 from 16 balls and got dismissed by Archer in the nineteenth over. Dhoni’s late finish with massive hittings of three out of four sixes in the last over of Jaydev Unadkat, and propelled Chennai Super Kings to a good total of 175/5.

They also lost their top three batsmen Ajinkya Rahane(0), Jos Buttler(6), Sanju Samson(8) inside the first overs of the game and lead RR to 14/3. But the set pair of Rahul Tripathi and Steven Smith, due to the courtesy of 40-year-old leg spinner- Imran Tahir got dismissed in the Quick successions. And indeed once that pair was dismissed, RR lost two more wickets before Ben Stokes 46 off 26 balls and Jofra Archer revived the innings with a 44 run partnership of 18 balls and turn the game completely in the favour of Rajasthan as they only required 12 runs off the last over.
But, Dwayne Bravo bowls an impressive over and dismissed Stokes on the very first ball of the over and evaporated the Rajasthan Royal’s chances of winning completely out as they only managed to end their innings at 167/8. Chennai Super Kings took the win just by 8 runs in the tight battle.
